Notice of Special General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting of the North Sydney District Cricket Club will be held on Tuesday 28 November 2023 at 7pm at Norths Leagues Club, Cammeray.

The sole agenda item is to ratify the revisions to our Constitution made as a result of review by the Cricket NSW Board of the Constitution as provisionally amended at the Annual General Meeting on 21 July 2023.

These amendments are minor in nature and were made in order to secure the Board's approval of our Constitution following amendments voted on at our recent AGM. For the revised Constitution to be codified, the amended wording is required to be endorsed at a SGM or AGM.

• Clean and tracked change versions of the Constitution - in the tracked change version, the pink changes are those resulting from the Cricket NSW review, the blue are the changes provisionally endorsed at the AGM.
• Explanatory note - this is the same as tabled at the AGM other than a section at the end explaining the changes requested by Cricket NSW.

All are very welcome to attend the SGM, but players who owe membership fees to the club as at the end of last season (defaulters), paid employees and relatives of playing members are not eligible to vote at a North Sydney District Cricket Club General Meeting. Only active playing members who have paid fees or had fees waived and Life Members are eligible to vote.
