John Saint 3

John Saint, Men's Head Coach

John joined the Bears from a coaching role at Penrith, having also had a highly accomplished playing career. He played First Grade for Penrith and Sydney University, winning two O’Reilly medals, and First Class cricket for Tasmania. He counts Wasim Akram and Arjuna Ranatunga among his scalps for the Apple Isle.

John's remarkable cricketing experience is invaluable to the men's playing group at UTS North Sydney.

Ash Perrott

Ashley Perrott, Fielding and Fitness Coach

Ash is an accomplished sportsman, having played first grade rugby and competitive athletics. Ash has been a vital contributor to the Bears' men's and juniors programs in recent seasons and brings a focus and professionalism to the program. Ash holds the Level 2 (Representative) coaching accreditation.

Michelle Goszko, Director of Cricket - Women's

Michelle brings an intimidating playing a coaching pedigree to UTS North Sydney's women's program. Michelle's playing career included scoring a test double century and winning a world cup in front of the largest crowd ever recorded at a women's cricket match.

After her playing career Michelle has been heavily involved in the NSW pathways program for junior girls, recently coaching the NSW Metro U15 squad at the national championships.

Michelle manages the women's cricket program at UTS NSDCC, overseeing all aspects of the program.

Michelle is a Level 3 coach who also runs level 1 programs for CNSW.

Lachlan Dodd

Lachlan Dodd, Strength & Conditioning

Lachlan Dodd is Head of Strength & Conditioning at UTS. Lachlan completed his BA in Sport and Exercise Science at UTS and has experience as a Sports Scientist and Strength & Conditioning coach with the NRL. Lachlan works closely with our coaching staff in developing tailored S&C programs for each of our players as well as assisting with group S&C work with our playing group at preseason and during the season.

Tim Reynolds, AW Green Shield Head Coach

Tim has been with the Bears since his own first season of Green Shield, was a state age-group representative and has become a stalwart First Grade player. Tim owns a cricket coaching business with his brother, Hamish, and has assisted with the Green Shield program heavily in recent seasons before becoming Head Coach in 2023-24 and also supporting the coaching of our Premiership-winning PGs side. He is assisted with Green Shield by Hamish, who made his own First Grade debut in 2023-24, and together Tim and Hamish deliver our boys' academy program.
