Hamish Reynolds Makes Green Shield TOTY

Long-term UTS North Sydney Green Shield player Hamish Reynolds was recently awarded selection in the AW Green Shield team of the year as the 4th highest run scorer in the competition.  Hamish scored 283 runs at an average of 47.17 which completed his 6 wickets with the new ball at 15.67 with an impressive economy rate of 2.4.

Hamish has played 4 seasons of Green Shield for UTS North Sydney after being called up as a replacement player in the 2018/19 season. All in all, Hamish has represented the club in 25 Green Shield matches - potentially a record for the club.  Hamish captained the team for the past two seasons and impressed all with his calm leadership.

This season was undoubtedly his best in Green Shield, with his potential translating into performance. Hamish is one of the most talented prospects at the club, indeed making his Poidevin-Gray shield debut this season as an 15 year old.  He has also been rewarded with selection in the NSW academy. Hamish is a prospect to keep your eye on and we hope we see him gracing the top grade with his brother Tim shortly!
