Bears in the UK - 2019 Part 2

With the UK cricket season in full swing, we check in with the various Bears plying their trade in Blighty in 2019.

Jagot BurwellTom Jagot has continued his intimidating form for Burwell and Exning CC in the East Anglia Premier League. Tom plundered a century against Horsford CC before compiling a measured 44 against Mildenhall CC.

In the Cheshire County Cricket League, Olly Knight has made a number of useful contributions for Grapehall CC. A pair of 2-fors were complemented by a handy 47 with the bat against Timperley CC.

The Bears’ two adopted Lancastrians, Toby Lester and George Lavelle, have both had success for Lancashire's second XI. In the 3-day fixture against Durham, Toby captured 5/64 in the first innings while George knocked up 76 to help Lancs to a large first innings lead. Toby followed this performance up with a miserly 3/30 against Sussex.

Indefatiguable four-season English Bear, Jake Lintott, has also starred for his club side Clevedon CC,  minor counties side Wiltshire, and for Warwickshire's second XI. For Clevedon, Jake captured 3/10 as he led his side to a crushing victory over Lansdown CC. Jake also dominated a T20 for Wiltshire, blasting 75 from 44 balls to lead a successful chase of 177 against Wales and has picked up regular wickets in the county second XI competition for the Bears.
