Access RnD presents the Bradman Medal rounds 7 and 8
The 2020-21 season will be the fourth in which the Access RnD Bradman Medal is awarded to our First Grade player of the year, thanks to the continued generous support from our headline sponsor. Round 7 saw a strong all-round performance from Mac Jenkins to take out the award. Mac's nerveless partnership with Matt Alexander iced a wobbly run chase. In Round 8, Aiden Bariol chalked up his second century of the season to help the Bears post a strong total against local rivals, Gordon.
About the Award
Points are awarded in each of the 15 rounds of the regular season using a formula based on runs, wickets and fielding dismissals, and totted up to determine the overall positions. James Campbell took out the inaugural award in 2017-18, Adam Crosthwaite was the winner in 2018-19 and James Campbell and Matt Alexander tied in 2019-20. The presentation of the Access RnD Bradman Medal is the highlight of our annual presentation night (or virtual presentation, as was the case in 2020), alongside a video celebrating the First Grade season.
