UTS NSDCC Welcomes Serious Cricketers Wishing to Spend a Season in Oz!
For many years, UTS North Sydney has provided cricketing opportunities for overseas players seeking to play in the world's toughest club competition, NSW Premier Cricket.
Under the playing conditions of the competition, a club is only able to register 3 overseas players, with just one able to play first grade in any given match. As a consequence, opportunities to play in the NSW Premier Cricket competition are highly prized, especially amongst players from the UK.
If you are interested in playing for UTS North Sydney DCC in the NSW Premier Cricket competition, there are some key facts that we would ask you to note.
- UTS NSDCC is able to host 3 overseas players each year.
- We would anticipate the players have the capacity to play in either our 1st or 2nd grade teams.
- First grade cricket in Sydney is comparable to division 2 in the County Championship or stronger County 2nd XI cricket.
- We field 5 grades and train twice per week.
We will only entertain those players who genuinely love the game of cricket, engage socially with their club, and wish to progress their cricket with a season in Sydney.
