Support the LBW Trust at the Womens T20 World Cup Semi Final Lunch at the SCG
On Thursday the 5th of March, both the semi finals of the Womens T20 WC will be held at the SCG.
As a lead in to these games, the LBW Trust is hosting a luncheon at the SCG.
The Learning for a Better World (LBW) Trust was established in 2006 and draws on the generosity of the Australian and international cricketing community to provide transformational educational opportunities for young men and women in the developing world. The LBW Trust works by partnering with reputable and well-established NGOs and educational institutions in cricket-playing, developing nations to allow impoverished students the opportunity to receive a tertiary or vocational education. Details on these projects can be found at the following link www.lbwtrust.com.au
The lunch will be headlined by Indra Nooyi (former global CEO of PepsiCo, current Board Member of Amazon and the International Cricket Council), consistently listed in TIME’s “100 Most Influential People”, and known for her hallmark motto "do well by doing good". This will be followed by a panel to celebrate the work of remarkable women such as Dr Kakenya Ntaiya in Kenya and Mahboba Rawi in Afghanistan, and we will then hear from trailblazing women in sport such as Alex Blackwell, former Australian Women’s Cricket Captain. The lunch will be hosted by renowned Australian journalist Tracey Holmes.
Individual seats are $375, which includes 3 course lunch, drinks, entertainment and premium seating for both semi final matches. The cost also includes a tax deductible donation component to support the work of the LBW Trust.
Corporate partnership packages are also available if your business or place of work is interested in booking a table and inviting clients and colleagues.
It would be great to have a group from the Bears attend to fill a table (or two!)
