Harrison May Collects his 100th Bears' Wicket
In round 11 against Northern District, Harrison May collected his 100th wicket for UTS North Sydney.
Harrison (Harry) May joined UTS North Sydney in season 2018/19 with his younger brother Fletcher and has become an integral member of the club.
‘The Big Horse’, as he is affectionately known, is a whole-hearted and spirited opening bowler. He is one of the best trainers at the club, bowling long spells to all batters with intensity and commitment.
Horse has represented the club in Fifth Grade to Second Grade and has taken 104 wickets in exactly 50 games at an average of 19.26. His best figures are 6/49 in Fourth Grade, but his best performance for the club was undoubtedly his Second Grade debut where he took match figures of 11/117 vs Sutherland in Round 13 of 2019/20.
Harry’s batting has improved over the years and this year he has contributed 128 runs at 16 in 3s, including two match-winning digs of 39* and 35* against Mosman and Penrith respectively.
Congrats, Harry!! We look forward to more bags of wickets and runs into the future.
