A Big Thank You to All Our Dedicated Volunteers

Sarah

May 20-26 is National Volunteer Week and the UTS NSDCC Bears wish to thank all our tireless volunteers for their hard work and dedication. It takes an immense quantity of volunteer effort to make any community club run and those who are so giving of their deserve to be recognised for their selflessness.

Over the off-season we will be profiling individual volunteers to ensure those who toil hard behind the scenes get their brief (and often reluctant) moment in the spotlight.

Club volunteers come in many forms, from the committee, to those who provide match-day management and support, to parents and families of players, as well as selectors, coaches and former players. One quality that unites them all is a desire to see the members of their club have the opportunity to enjoy their cricket, and succeed while doing so.Toddy Running

The volunteer work undertaken by players themselves is also not to be forgotten. Whether it be through captaincy, organising club events, producing multimedia content or hundreds of other, day-to-day jobs that must be done, the club's playing members contribute enormously each year, and deserve all our thanks.

So, thank you to all those who have contributed to the Bears' community throughout the 2018/19 season.
