We are the junior arm of the North Sydney District Cricket Club, one of the oldest cricket clubs in Australia and are affiliated with the North Shore Junior Cricket Association.
We will be accepting registrations from now until 31 August, 2016. Please enrol online via the link at the top of the page. You can pay by credit card or direct debit.
If you have any questions, please email the Club Registrar, Andrew Richards at firstname.lastname@example.org
Like all other club based teams, North Sydney does not grade its players into teams. Players are encouraged to nominate up to 4 friends they wish to play with, and the club will do its best to try to honour those wishes. Note that it is the club that forms teams based on all the registration data available, not groups of parents, and preference is given to keeping teams from the previous season together.
NSJCA Competitions for 2016/2017
Before registering, please ensure you understand which age group you are registering for and when and on which day the matches will be played. These vary from season to season as the North Shore Junior Cricket Association (NSJCA) tries to fit more matches on a stagnating number of grounds. Some competitions have to be played on Sundays, a phenomenon that is only likely to increase in the future. You also need to take into account school sporting commitments your child may have both in Term IV 2016 and Term 1 2017.
Note: in Season 2016/17, due to limited availability of grounds, there will 20 over games in many competitions. This is to allow more games per a day. These competitions will be 9-a-side (on the field), rather than 11.
Click here to see the anticipated age groups for the 2016-17 season, and when they will be played. The cut-off to determine age groups is 31 August, 2016. E.g. if your child is 9 now or turns 9 on or before 31 August, 2016, then they would be in the Under 10s.
Players may play in more than one division if timing permits.
Any questions, no matter how trivial you think they may be can be addressed to our Chairman or Registrar, whose details are:
